- Monday, June 17, 2019 @ 8pm – Niall Connolly & Friends @ New York Beer Company. The Monday Night Sessions return to Hell’s Kitchen this week with the Cork-born singer/songwriter and his colleagues. (Event)
— - Tuesday, June 18, 2019 @ 8pm – Tanbark @ Union Pool. The Brooklyn duo release their eponymous album in Williamsburg. Also on the bill are Donny Dinero and Low Roller. (Tickets)
— - Wednesday, June 19, 2019 @ 7pm – Billy Conahan @ LIC Bar. Conahan will be doing a solo performance as well as working on some live videos in Queens. Also on the bill are Werewolves, DelGaudio, and Good Get Out (residency). (Event)
— - Friday, June 21, 2019 @ 5:30pm – Free Music Fridays @ American Folk Art Museum. Big City Folk regular Lara Ewen curates an Americana-tinged event on Fridays at the American Folk Art Museum. This week is a special “Made in Brooklyn” edition and features Chris Q. Murphy, Liz Tormes, and Terry Radigan. (Event)
— - Friday, June 21, 2019 @ 8pm – The High & Wides @ Jalopy Theatre. The “apostles of hillbilly boogie” (The Washington Post) will be travelling all the way from Maryland to bring their unique sound to the Jalopy. Also on the bill is Brooklyn’s own bluegrass/country stalwart, Christian Apuzzo. (Event)
— - Saturday, Jun 22, 2019 @ 6:30pm – Bexarkana @ Freddy’s Bar. Rebecca White and company play an acoustic set in Brooklyn and will be featuring a new song. Also on the bill are Melissa Plett and Radionics. (Event)
— - Saturday, June 22, 2019 @ 10pm – Ruby Landen @ The Way Station. Landen releases her latest EP, “Meditation Sounds” at Brooklyn’s favorite Nerd Bar. Also on the bill are Adam Douglass Triage and Megumi Saruhashi. (Event)
— - Sunday, June 23, 2019 @ 11AM – Porch Stomp @ Governor’s Island. Big City Folk will have a stage during Porch Stomp in Nolan Park on Governor’s Island. Our stage will feature Niall Connolly, The Locksmiths, Chris Q. Murphy, Ali Aslam, Chris Michael, May Cheung, Lara Ewen, Jim from Kansas, Jonathan Isaac Hagen, Jo Kroger, Karen Dahlstrom, Jasper Lewis, Mississippi Cotten, and E. W. Harris. (Event)
