A selection of shows from the infinite sea of events in NYC this week:

• Monday, Sep. 23, 2019 @ 8pm – Those Sensible Shoes @ Rockwood Music Hall -Stage 1. The inimitable duo of Mulcahy & Stern bring their songcraft and harmonies to the Lower East Side. It will also be Anhony’s birthday! Also on the bill are Matthew Black, Joan Caddell and the Midnight Choir, Jealous of the Birds, Alex Jordan Band, Nicholas Wells, and Sylvia Bosco. (Event)

• Monday, Sep. 23, 2019 @ 8:30pm – Young Forever @ Pete’s Candy Store. A night of incredible songwriters at Brooklyn’s eclectic linchpin. The night features Gawain & The Green Knight, Jason Myles Goss, W. C. Beck, and Karen Dahlstrom. (Event)

• Tuesday, Sep. 24, 2019 @ 7pm – Miwa Gemini @ Rockwood Music Hall – Stage 3. The ladies of Miwa Gemini celebrate the release of their latest EP, “Jitterbug To Lonely Things”. Head to Stage 3 for some incredible music. (Tickets)

• Tuesday, Sep. 24, 2019 @ 8pm – Chris Q. Murphy & The Coolest Ranch @ Lizzie King’s Parlor. Indelible Singer/Songwriter Murphy is joined by his fabulous backing band for a night of incredible music in Brooklyn. (Event)

• Wednesday, Sep. 25, 2019 @ 8pm – Big City Folk Song Club @ Stella & Fly. Song Club returns to Stella & Fly on the Upper East Side this week. We are on a four week trial so we’d love to see you. This week’s feature is the talented Karen Dahlstrom. • Friday, Sep. 27, 2019 @ 5:30pm – Free Music Fridays @ American Folk Art Museum. Free Music Fridays returns as Big City Folk regular Lara Ewen curates an Americana-tinged event on Fridays at the American Folk Art Museum.  This week will feature Chris Riffle, Bright Brown, and Yaniza. (Event)

• Friday, Sep. 27, 2019 @ 9pm – Farewell to R’a’R @ R’a’R Bar. D. B. Rielly brings it on home as we celebrate the final performance at R’a’R Bar before it closes its doors after 12 years. (Event)
