  • Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 @ 7pm – Tapioca #11 @ Sidewalk Cafe.  Tapioca is a monthly musical showcase curated by E. Niveous Rayside at Sidewalk Cafe.  This month features Joe Yoga, Mike Milazzo, Space Machine, Timothy Dark and Inglewood.  (Event)

  • Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 @ 9pm – Liberation Era @ Rockwood Music Hall – Stage 1.  Soul/R&B act hailing from Brooklyn. (Event)

  • Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 @ 6pm – Caves & Clouds @ Rockwood Music Hall – Stage 1.  Caves and Clouds is a duo made up of E.W. Harris and Jo Kroger.  They released an eponymous record earlier in 2017.

  • Thursday, Jan. 4 2018 @ 8pm – Song Club @ Fawkner.  Song Club returns at Park Slope venue Fawkner.  This week’s feature is August Wells.  Send an e-mail to bigcityfolk@gmail.com if you want to participate in Song Club.  (Event)

  • Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 @ 6:30pm – Cal Folger Day: The Woods and Grandma @ The Music Owl Parlor.  Cal Folger Day presents material from her pop-opera, The Woods and Grandma, which was awarded the Little Gem award at the 2017 Dublin Fringe.  $10 Suggested Donation.  (Event)

  • Saturday, Jan. 5, 2018 @ 11pm – The Locksmiths @ PIANOS.  The Locksmiths (Robert and Krissy Bock) released an eponymous album in 2017.  Also performing are Pete Mancini, Lords of Liechtenstein and Nick Horner. (Event)

  • Sunday, Jan. 6, 2018 @ 7pm – The Scratcher Sessions, featuring Niall Connolly and Warren Malone @ The Scratcher.  Niall Connolly (who just released LP Dream Your Way Out of This One) and Warren Malone are getting older, and celebrate it with a night at The Scratcher.  (Event)
