A selection of shows from the infinite sea of events in NYC this week:

• Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 @ 7pm – House of Songs presents @ Brooklyn Rooftop. This rooftop event will feature two Big City Folk regulars Jo Kroger and E. W. Harris as well as Our Man in the Field and Aviva Jaye. Guaranteed to be an eventful show in Gowanus and will be moved to indoor event space in case of rain. (Event)

• Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 @ 7:30pm – Astoria Music Collective @ The Wolfhound. AMC hosts its second day of the Between Two Bridges Festival at The Wolfhound with performances by Virginia Marcs, Billy Conahan, Julia Wolf, Shannon Noel, Kevin Goldhahn, and Sarah Murdoch. (Event)

• Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019 @ 7:30pm – The Foxy Johnstons @ Sunnyvale. The dynamic duo share their original songs in Brooklyn. Also on the bill are Color Collage and Atlas Engine. (Tickets)

• Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019 @ 8pm – Anthony Mulcahy @ Rockwood Music Hall – Stage 1. Mulcahy will be singing acapella traditional Irish songs as proceeds will go to benefit RAICES Texas (organization that helps with legal costs to refugee families and individuals). (Event)

• Friday, Aug. 16, 2019 @ 5:30pm – Free Music Fridays @ American Folk Art Museum. Big City Folk regular Lara Ewen curates an Americana-tinged event on Fridays at the American Folk Art Museum.  This week features Mark Smith, Gawain & The Green Knight, and Lizzie No. (Event)

• Friday, Aug. 16, 2019 @ 9pm – Keren Abreu @ Rockwood Music Hall – Stage 2. Bronx-native, singer/songwriter Abreu plays a show on the Lower East Side. (Tickets)

• Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019 @ 6pm – Hanging Moon Records Showcase @ Pete’s Candy Store. The showcase will feature not only a backyard BBQ, but also the musical talents of Antron 4.2.0, Kia Eshghi, Elizabeth De Deus, and E. W. Harris. (Event)
