A selection of shows from the infinite sea of shows in NYC this week:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018 @ 6:30pm – The New York Antifolk Festival @ Sidewalk Café.  The New York Antifolk Festival wraps up with its last night of its biannual festival.  The seventh night features, amongst others, the reading of poetry written by Bernard King, the music of Barry Bliss, Julie Scherr, Killy Dwyer, and an Antifolk music video screening night, which includes the music of Charles Mansfield.   • Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 @ 10pm – Caitlin Mahoney @ Rockwood Music Hall – Stage 1.  Caitlin Mahoney performs her yearly Valentine’s Day set at singer-songwriter venue Rockwood Music Hall, with a set of Valentine’s Day themed covers and originals. (Event)

  • Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 @ 8pm – Song Club @ Fawkner.  Song Club returns at Park Slope venue Fawkner.  This week’s feature is Amy Sheehan (also of The LoveHowl).  Send an e-mail to bigcityfolk@gmail.com if you want to participate in Song Club.  (Event)

  • Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 @ 6pm – Welcome to Boog City 11.5 @ Various Locations.  Small press establishment Boog City puts on its yearly literary/film/theater/music festival.  The first night features a series of poetry readings and music by Joe Yoga.  Make sure to check out the event page for a full listing of events.  (Event)
